KNOW THE LIMITS
How local monitoring works
01. Verified responses
When a website permits CORS, skyvison reads the final HTTP status. HTTP 500–599 counts as a server error; 400–499 gets a warning.
02. Unverified responses
If CORS blocks status access, a second limited browser request can show only that a response arrived. It cannot tell a 200 from a 500. We label it unverified.
03. Network failures
Two consecutive failed requests produce an alert, but network errors can also mean blocked requests, SSL issues or device connectivity—not necessarily that the website is down.
04. Tab and privacy
Keep this tab open and your computer awake. Targets and intervals are saved to localStorage; check history stays in memory. No external analytics, background service or cron execution.
