Tool data stays in your browser
The local browser tools process entered data locally; Weather searches use the online service described below. Business invoices, customer records and khata entries use this browser’s local storage. Campus saves attendance, grades and tasks locally. Other tools may also keep lists or settings locally. skyvison does not provide cloud backup or account-based syncing for these records.
Local storage persists until you remove it or your browser clears it. It is not encrypted by skyvison and can be accessible to other people using the same browser profile. Do not enter sensitive records on a shared device.
Office documents and optional cloud accounts
Office documents, titles, comments and recent snapshots are saved in this browser using IndexedDB. The app caches its software for offline use after the initial download. Device storage is not encrypted by skyvison and can be cleared or evicted by your browser; export backups.
If you create or sign into a cloud account, Firebase Authentication processes your email, credentials and session information. Email verification and password reset requests send email through that provider. Documents are uploaded only when you choose Connect to cloud. Cloud documents, comments, sharing permissions and up to 20 saved cloud snapshots are stored in skyvison’s Firestore database. Verified collaborators receive access according to owner-assigned viewer/editor permissions. Removing access prevents future sync but cannot revoke copies already downloaded. Owners can delete cloud documents and their snapshots from the File menu; deleting a device copy does not delete the cloud record. Signing out leaves device copies and offline app assets in this browser.
Office periodically contacts skyvison’s API while a cloud document is open. Hosting logs may record request paths and timestamps. No claim of end-to-end encryption is made.
Weather searches
The Weather section is an online service. City searches and selected coordinates are sent to skyvison's backend and Open-Meteo to retrieve location matches, forecasts and air quality. The backend also requests available official warning feeds and worldwide GDACS event information. Selected IMD districts are used to filter district warnings. Weather responses are cached temporarily in server memory; the weather feature does not write searches to Firestore or browser storage. Hosting request logs may include query parameters. Weather results are not a complete emergency alert service.
Transport searches
Travel's transport section sends selected city coordinates, stop IDs and optional US airport codes through skyvison's backend to connected providers: TfL, MBTA, Entur, Fintraffic, FAA and, for requested mapped-facility lookups, VK Maps' public Overpass endpoint for OpenStreetMap facilities. City searches use Open-Meteo. Aircraft observation requests send rounded coordinates to ADSB.lol. Airport directory records come from OurAirports' public-domain dataset hosted on GitHub; selected coordinates are used locally on the backend to find nearby airports. Coordinates sent upstream are rounded where appropriate. Results are temporarily cached in server memory; this feature does not store searches in Firestore or browser storage. Infrastructure request logs may include query parameters. Live coverage is regional and incomplete. External operator links are opened only when selected.
PNR and journey status shortcuts
Travel’s PNR and status workspace links to official railway and airline checkers. skyvison does not collect booking references or passenger names for these checks. You enter those details on the operator’s website, under its privacy terms. Selecting an airline only updates local links and does not contact the airline until you open a link.
Website and external services
Your browser sends ordinary web requests to the hosting provider. The homepage also requests the app catalog from skyvison’s backend. Some tools load software libraries from cdnjs or jsDelivr; those providers receive requests when the libraries load. Infrastructure may record request details such as IP addresses and timestamps. This notice does not promise that hosting logs are absent or specify an unverified retention period.
Opening a WhatsApp reminder transfers the selected phone number and message into a WhatsApp link. Review the message before sending it. UPI links open your payment app; skyvison does not confirm payment. External services have their own privacy terms.
For parents
Kids drawings are kept in the open page’s memory until downloaded. There is no public artwork gallery or messaging feature in the Kids tool. Reloading or closing the page may lose the drawing. Help children download their artwork, and avoid adding names, addresses or other identifying details.
Deleting and exporting
Use the tool’s export or backup controls, then remove saved entries or clear skyvison site data in browser settings. Clearing site data cannot remove copies already downloaded or sent to another service. See Data & Downloads for details.
Contact and policy status

skyvison meet
Hosts sign in through Firebase. The backend temporarily stores the host identity, participant display names, hashed invite/session secrets, room controls and recording consent. LiveKit carries call media and connection information. Invitations contain a private link fragment; share them only with intended guests. Calls use encrypted transport; this version does not provide end-to-end encryption.
The app asks all admitted participants before host recording starts. The host saves composed video, mixed audio and optional transcripts in this browser using IndexedDB. This content is not uploaded by meet. Optional device transcription downloads a public Whisper model from Hugging Face; audio stays on your device. Transcript import into office uses local browser storage. Chat is temporary and disappears on leaving. Download backups before clearing browser data. App consent controls cannot stop someone using an external recorder.
Expired room records are removed by scheduled cleanup; hashed per-host quota records remain for abuse prevention. Provider records are subject to LiveKit’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.
skyvison local shop catalogues
Shop drafts and product photos stay in your browser until you choose to publish. Exported backups remain on your device. Publishing uses Google sign-in and stores your account identifier, shop name, location, public WhatsApp number, hours and product details/photos in our backend. These catalogue details become publicly visible to anyone with the link. Only reviewed catalogues appear in the directory; review is not business verification. Contacting a shop opens WhatsApp, whose own privacy terms apply. You can take your catalogue offline from the editor; previously shared copies may remain elsewhere. Signing out does not erase the device draft. Contact hello@skyvison.com for privacy or removal requests.
skyvison rides preview
The rides preview keeps selected pickup and destination points in page memory. Browser location is requested only when you choose it. Loading the map sends your IP address and viewed map area to OpenStreetMap; external directions open Google Maps only when you choose the link. Journey sharing displays a snapshot for review before you send it through WhatsApp or your device. These third-party services have their own privacy terms. Optional device practice history stores city, completion/cancellation status and date, without coordinates, contact details or PINs. No live booking, driver tracking, payment collection or monitored emergency response is connected.
