News and market headlines
Headlines and original-publisher links come from the free GDELT DOC API. We do not copy full publisher articles or assume permission to reuse their photographs. The date is when GDELT first saw the story, which may differ from publication. Coverage is a selection of indexed reporting, not a complete news service. When worldwide English headlines are unavailable, articles entered into the Published category within the last 14 days of Wikinews may appear as an explicitly labelled fallback, as headline links only; original licences vary by publication date. The free Spaceflight News API by The Space Devs can also supply explicitly labelled space-news headlines for that worldwide English fallback. English market feeds for Worldwide/United States can include U.S. Federal Reserve releases, clearly labelled as U.S. central-bank coverage. Other language/region selections do not silently fall back to English. Market cards are headlines, not live stock prices, trading signals or investment advice.
Reading trends and language coverage
Wikimedia reading trends show popular articles for a language edition of Wikipedia, not a global social-media ranking. The day of the underlying data is displayed. Wikipedia excerpts are shortened and attributed to contributors under CC BY-SA 4.0, with original pages and history linked. Content language affects available source content; the interface stays in English. No automatic translation is claimed. Some language editions lack a feed; film labels may fall back to English and Commons captions may be in another language.
Bollywood and world cinema
Release records come from Wikidata’s CC0 structured data. Bollywood selects Indian-origin Hindi-language films. World cinema uses recorded country of origin. The window covers the previous 30 days and next 120 days. This is not a complete release calendar, ticket listing or streaming-availability service. Check dates with the distributor. Movie posters and commercial trailers are not copied without reuse permission.
Photos, video and audio
Independent discovery from Wikimedia Commons: selected nature/landscape visuals and music audio. Only supported media with a recognised CC BY, CC BY-SA, CC0 or public-domain licence link and credits are shown. The source file and licence are linked on each card. Media is not presented as evidence or an illustration of an unrelated news story. Audio/video loads only when you choose to play; browser codec support varies. File-size limits can reduce the selection.
Free-only architecture and privacy
These adapters use keyless public APIs; there are no paid API providers, paid fallbacks or free-trial credentials. Requests are cached and limited. Hosting and bandwidth may still have operating costs. Sources can be unavailable or rate-limited; the feed says so rather than inventing content. Your selection is sent to skyvison’s feed service; media loads from Wikimedia only when displayed or played, and outbound links open the provider. Saved frames and preferences are stored locally. Clear saved frames below to remove them from this browser.
