Enable controls, then hold “Hold to drive” while using a stick or slider. Release, switch apps or press Escape to stop. Touch controls return to center; throttle returns to zero.
Channels & accessible sliders
Simulator only. This page does not control a nearby vehicle automatically.
ESP32 access point with a locally served controller, pairing key and 500 ms receiver watchdog. Two PWM channels for a compatible forward-only ESC and steering servo.
Arduino-ESP32 3.x + ArduinoJson 7. Outputs disabled until explicitly enabled in firmware.
Install the kit first, join the receiver’s Wi-Fi, then open its address. The controller runs from the receiver itself, avoiding HTTPS-to-local-network restrictions on the public site.
START WITH A BENCH TEST
From screen to receiver.
Try every control in the simulator.Vehicle profiles change channel labels and the visualization. Aircraft profiles are channel layouts, not aerodynamic simulations.
Choose hardware and install the kit.Use the included README, wiring notes and setup commands. Confirm pin selection, power supply, common ground and your ESC’s stop pulse before enabling outputs.
Connect locally and pair.ESP32: join its password-protected access point and open 192.168.4.1. Pi: open its private LAN address on the same Wi-Fi. Enter the receiver’s pairing key.
Check release and lost-link behavior. With wheels lifted or drive disconnected, check zero throttle, steering, STOP, tab switching and receiver timeout before any use. Starter code has not been tested on your hardware.
Aircraft, drones & FPV
Airplane, quadcopter, tricopter, FPV and helicopter profiles are available in simulation. Live receiver code deliberately accepts only car and boat profiles. It does not implement stabilization, rotor mixing, radio telemetry, autonomous flight or FPV video.
For flight hardware, integrate the chosen flight controller’s supported protocol and test its arming and failsafe behavior separately. Wi-Fi/browser input is not a replacement for a qualified RC link.
Phone & tablet support
The simulator and locally served controller use standard touch, pointer and HTTP APIs. No app store install, Web Bluetooth or Web Serial is required. Layouts adapt to Android, iPhone, iPad and desktop browsers.
Actual radio range, latency and browser behavior depend on your device and network. There is no guaranteed latency or background control; hiding the page disarms it.
The kit includes the local controller, receiver source, firmware and protocol tests. Pairing keys stay in memory, and no control data is sent to skyvison.
